Hi the idea is coming from stanza which had a bar on the bottom of the screen that was changing color ( 2 different shades of grey ) in relation to the percentage of pages read. It was very useful , would be nice to have it on mega reader that is by far the best program on the market !

Once a new catalog has been added, it's impossible to go back and edit the catalog name, URL, username, and password. If anything needs to be changed, the catalog must be deleted and all the parameters entered again. This is not the usual "way of things" in most apps that support access to remote resources.

Maybe a small button to let me see the books metadata. I use Calibre and have a large database. Seeing the metadata would help me pick out books I want to read.

Megareader lets you select background colr and font color. Even so, some text is still hard for dyslexics. Adding one of the open source / free fonts for dyslexia would be great.

You can download ePub books from manybooks by typing "www.manybooks.net/opds"; in the add catalog section after ticking the edit button.

I would really like To be able to bookmark the page that I'm reading so that I can easily go back to it next time.

An example is that I add metadata for character names (I might remember the character, but not the title/author), series (do I can be sure the read them in order), and a toggle as to if I've read the book or not.

It's good that the app deals well with large collections of books, but when you have loaded a library with hundreds of titles in it, it gets very hard to scroll down to find the book you're looking for -- having the top level be the letters of the alphabet, or having hotlinks to the first book for each letter, would help a lot. This applies both to titles,authors, and subjects/collections.

I am a bit of a fanatic about reading books in a series by an author in the correct order and currently I can not see the series order.

Show current progress thru chapter, as pages read and total pages in chapter. Additionally, include % of book read. This information should be displayed when user taps center of screen then goes away upon second tap

would like to have the option to be able to mass download all books in Calibre to Mega Reader at once.

Is there a way to do this already that I am unaware of?

This is the one last thing that keeps me using Stanza instead of switching over wholesale (though I have bought MegaReader). When the page transition is set to "cut" it is *almost* what I want. But there's still a little delay where the screen is blank and there's no new text yet and I find that distracting. I would like it to just cut over instantly with no blank screen in the middle.

I don't want to have to use 2 different readers for my epubs and PDFs. Please support both, and provide us with a nice iBooks style bookshelf with customisable shelves for different book categories.

Control to move backwards and forward through an ebook by chapter. So that with one action the reader can advance to the next chapter or move back to the previous. This will make it easy to browse through a book. I mean, chapters are there, so why not make use of them?

Once downloaded to my iPhone there's no easy way to decide what I want to read first by skim reading the "back cover" blurbs.
You get a nice cover image and book description when you choose to Download a book to the device but it's not easily seen again.
Suggest this information is displayed on the click through page that shows Bookmark (Last place...) and Chapters.
